    Re: COST OF M118LR? Snipercentral.com has HSM ammo that has a M118LR copy that I have heard good things about, I have not used it myself though. I think it retails around $20 a box.

    Re: Glock or Smith and Wesson Shoot both and then decide. Buy as much ammo as you can and shoot as often as you can. I'd also recommend shooting at some IDPA competitions if there are any in your area, it will help you get proficient quickly.
