    Scoped model 1917 rifles

G’day all, I’ve seen on the Approved Sniper Rifle list for NRAA (National Rifle Association Australia) service rifle and the SSAA combined services match, a reference to “M17 , Eddystone/Various makers, USA/ 8x USMC scope” I can’t find any information around this combination, though I may be...

    McMillan stock for 1903?

There is also this rifle, which I don’t know a lot about . Could use a clean up. And I imagine I’d be doing wrong by fitting a scope to it . Though it’s been for sale for months! RF Sedgley sporter. Barrel is supposedly decent .

    McMillan stock for 1903?

That’s a beautiful rifle^ and I do agree with you but… I also like my idea . The complication to this I should have mentioned is that I’m in Australia. No real issue getting a McMillan but posed challenges Re I letting as a lot of our gunsmiths are unwilling to take on anything other than...

    McMillan stock for 1903?

Has anyone here ever seen or even better built a rifle using a Mcmillan stock with a 1903 or 1903A3 action? I've seen a few bare actions around lately, was thinking one with a heavy barrel, like a douglas #6 , aperture sights and a period scope in a HTG would be awesome... Any ideas?

What bipod is used in the AT308 marketing material?

I've had 2, they were both junk. See video below, the piece of bent metal that locked into the leg notches was thin and flimsy, and as you can see, doesn't work well. nothing like having your rifle bipod collapse to minimum height mid way through a serial in a competition. The replacement, was...

    FBI Sniper Rifles

Here's a question after reading through all of the different iterations listed or spoken of in this thread. I have a 3.5-10X40 Vari-x tactical with the exposed M1 style turrets and mildot ret. Pairing this with a win model 70, g series push feed action and a Mcmillan stock (HTG or Hunter)...

correct. Not sure what he's trying to defend, i didn't buy a new scope, the elevation turret assembly self destructed in my previous and i've been scopeless since. This quote is interesting too "I believe Bushnell is trying to assist all customers." ... What's helpful about ignoring messages...

“My personal feeling is that Bushnell was and is trying to help customers who they are not directly obligated to help (purchases outside of the USA) with some product as it becomes available. Everything is on allocation. This is my personal opinion and I have no connection whatever to Bushnell.”...
