Precision Rifle Gear New XTSP Tactical Mod 22 triggers coming soon

Just got word from Tom that his new triggers will be done in about three weeks. He said he made a few tweaks to it and if I understood him correctly, will have a stainless body like the new AI triggers. All the new mod 22 tactical will have adjustable shoes. I've been a fan of his triggers...

    Rifle Scopes Minox zp5

I emailed Blaser and asked if the ZP5s were still being manufactured and distributed to the USA, as well as who to send the scope for repairs. This was Blasers response: We still produce and sell the ZP5 rifle scopes. If you have a problem with the rifle scope please get in contact with us...

    Rifle Scopes Minox zp5

You could call eurooptic or Minox and find out. I've equally enjoyed my ZP5. If you get one, you won't be disappointed. I saw one go up on the PX. I think it was going for $2300.

    Quality cleaning patches

I wouldn't use mechanics towels. Just get any of the more expensive cotton patches.

Precision Rifle Gear Without warning muzzle brake test

Yeah I know. I have taken some time to reflect on this. The truth is that I'm just not happy in my own life and for some reason felt the need to complain about a test done over 8000 miles away. They are just muzzle brakes and there is no reason to get worked up over them.

Precision Rifle Gear Without warning muzzle brake test

Nobody said you had to be a robot. The solution to the inconsistent recoil management is shooting prone. It would have removed a lot of variables from the test. Even if your recoil management was poor in the prone, it would have likely been more consistent giving us better information. Being a...

Precision Rifle Gear Without warning muzzle brake test

Rifles recoil the same no matter what position you're in. Your body position influences where the recoil goes. I'm sure you know that, and I'm not trying to talk down to you. The testers fucked up because they introduced too many variables into their test. If all the shots were done prone...

Precision Rifle Gear Without warning muzzle brake test

You should have shot it prone and had your friend change the brakes while you stayed in position behind the rifle. It doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. Why don't you help your friend with his technique?

Precision Rifle Gear The G2 Heathen with Integral Tuner

I'm looking for additional input on these. Can any of you comment on your experience?

Precision Rifle Gear Without warning muzzle brake test

The way you tested how much the rifle comes off target between the brakes was not good. All it shows is how inconsistent the shooter is. I don't doubt it's a good brake, but your video only conclusively shows that it reduces recoil more than the other brakes.

Precision Rifle Gear Without warning muzzle brake test

Lately I've been eyeing that gen 2 Insite Heathen. They say the shooter doesn't get blasted as much.

Precision Rifle Gear Without warning muzzle brake test

What do you think about this? There's a section of the video where he's testing the brakes with video through the scope so you can see the effect each brake has on the recoil impulse. The shooter is kind of all over the place though. Reticle jumping right, left, sometimes straight up. It looks...

    Which brake?

    It looks nice.

    Which brake?

I switched from the original Area 419 Hellfire to the Hawkins tank brake for this reason. The horizontal ports don't reduce the recoil as much, but at least I'm not getting blasted anymore.

XLR Envy Pro vs MDT ACC?

Wasn't Jake Vibbert winning matches with the Envy? Or at least his version of it.

    How high are you're rings

Looks good. I think you need a new stock.

What kind of thread? Like a for sale thread?

FPS velocity change per degree on various powders

The results from other reloaders regarding temperature sensitivity has never matched my experiments. H4350 was gaining about 1 fps/degree in my rifle, while in another rifle I saw very little change in velocity from reloder 15 shooting at 70 degrees, and then went and shot at match in a...

Rifle Scopes New Schmidt & Bender PM2 6-36x56

I don't think you realize what that new 6-36 can do for a man.

Rifle Scopes New Schmidt & Bender PM2 6-36x56

If they get good reviews from Ilya and the like, I'll get one. I'm tired of being a disgusting bum with only a Minox and M7Xi.
