    Buy spare firing pin and file it down so it wont hit the breech face. Probably more of a hassle to swap pins but its an option.

    Help me out here is there just one case referred to as 6.5x55? I googled it and found 6.5x55 SE, Swed, Mauser and Swed Mauser. Is this all the same thing? If so the brass and ammo options are plentiful so yes that would be viable for the project.

    Consider yourself lucky last transfer in suck ass komifornia was $75+$30 for background + what they deemed value at for tax on a used rifle. This is why I maintain two residents and go to Az or Nv. Yeah if it was a bait n switch Id be mad but I wouldnt gripe about the cost itself.
