    Barrel was made by Eric at ES Tactical. K&P blank. I can't recall the profile...magnum perhaps. Will have to look at the build sheet.

    Yes, I'm shooting 300 PRC. 230 grain A-Tips. 30" 1:9 twist. No magazine issues whatsoever.

    I bought a pair of Oboz earlier this summer. I forget which model (non-gortex). They are soooo comfy. My new favorites. I have Salomon Ultra 3 Gtx as well and I do like those quite a bit too. However, they suck ass in the summer because my feet get soooo hot because of the gortex.

    I think that should be doable. I’m over 2900 with 230s. Longer barrel than yours, but I bet you can get there. Impressive setup. Especially the weight. As you very well know these are not light rifles. I don’t want to weigh mine 😃. 10#s all dressed up is awesome.

    If you have to go carbon get the proof. Significantly better quality control barrel to barrel. Christiansen seems to be “I hope I get a good one”. Otherwise a Bartlein barrel spun up from the guys at Craddock precision would be the direction I would give a serious look. I built mine on an Aero...

    Let the range be your answer. The 308 ammo was never advertised with Peterson brass. When Prime came back online with their 6.5 creedmoor ammo that cartridge was advertised using Peterson brass. As other cartridges have come online they, Prime, have spec’d out additional components.

    Just to add to how stupid their city council is.....they just approved a new payroll tax. The employer has to pay a 2% tax for any employee making 150k or more a year. Goodbye employers.

    I picked up my rifle on Wednesday. Just need to get the bipod and scope mounted. I went with Sage Green. Looks great. Is there a way to tell if the bolt in my rifle has a a sfp? Won’t matter for awhile as I will shoot the 308 barrel but at some point will switch to 6.5 creedmoor

    New family member

    @ArmedGinger...that's a super cute pup you got there. I had a german shepherd growing up. She was one of the smartest dogs I've ever had. Her name was Dare. She had a great bark. Only reason I don't have German Shepherds now is the fur. Ha.....I've had Dobermans for the last 18 years now.
