    I’m really liking the 300 prc. I’m still developing a load. I had Eric, ES Tactical, make my barrel 30” long. Trying to find the right powder to make use of the length. Seems to be an efficient case design.

    It’s not bad. I had a 27” 300 Norma barrel in my DT for awhile. Don’t get me wrong, you certainly know when you pull the trigger, but it’s tolerable. I have 300 prc barrel now and I’d say the Norma recoil was the same, maybe a smidge more. All subjective though.

    Lever action Marlin questions - 44 mag and 45-70

    I couldn't decide so I have both a 44mag and 45-70 lever. The 44 is nicer to shoot at the range (less recoil). the 45-70 is a bit of a range novelty. Shoot it several times and "yep, that's enough of that".

    My application was approved last week by the SBA for the PPP, but I have not received the funds yet. I'm supposed to this week though. We shall see.

    Because ES Tactical’s, who he asked about, button barrel length stops at 26”. ES Tactical doesn’t offer a button barrel over 26”

    It is tough to choose, no doubt. I sold it because I was an idiot. ?. I still get excited to shoot my DT like it was new. I absolutely love the platform. I have a 300 prc barrel now and enjoy it, but wish I never would’ve sold the Norma. Once the prc is shot out I will go back to Norma.

    Roger that. I’m sure it’s been a hair pulling event (what little you have ?). I know these things can be a real pain. I just went through moving software to different servers at work. Nothing goes as planned when you’re dealing with 1s and 0s.
