    My Dad was looking to buy a .45 ACP revolver, and was asking me about them. I'll admit I'm not a revolver guy, so I really have no idea. Do they all use moon clips? Does .45 Auto Rim work in them? Any other info is appreciated.

    I've got an old Sig P226 that the night sights have died on, and I'm looking to replace them. When I look at the replacements instead of having a height listed, they are listed as #6, #8, etc. How can I determine what I have now, for a direct replacement?

    I have several from back in the day, I would dig through the piles of them, and try to pick out ones with (what I thought at the time) were unusual markings. MO, DDR, SA marks, or Sestroryetsk mfg. and I was partial to the hex receivers.

    I can personally vouch for Bob Naess' work. He re-watted a captured MG 15 for me, can't tell there was ever a welder taken to it. Gun was captured in Fountain Bleu France in 1944, and mailed home in pieces.

    Fig, you right. I've always said if you aren't proud enough of your work to put your name on it, then it isn't worth a shit! Steel seems pretty soft, sharpens to a razors edge with out much effort, and I doubt it'll hold it for long either.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns FNX-45 Tactical, is something wrong with them?

    I don't have the TAC version just a standard FNX, it has been fine with everything I have shot through it. I have a friend that had an FNP, and yes there were certain ammos' it really didn't like. Like has been stated though, fully loaded, she is a heavy heifer! Soaks up the recoil though!
