    Rifle Scopes Looking for an F class scope, Burris XTR II?

    I've shot F-Class one or two times a year with a stock Remington 700 LTR and a variety of scopes from fixed 10 power to a Leupold 6.5-20. Rarely needed high power because of mirage. I don't think I ever missed the 10 ring because of the scope, I missed because I didn't notice or correct for wind.

    I just ordered a DMR which will be used on a AR-15. I don't have any 34mm rings or mounts and will need to buy some. I plan to shoot local PRS type events and the longest range will be about 700 yards. I'm thinking I won't need a 20 moa mount, correct? Any recommendations on rings or mounts?

    Remington 700 Issue

    I did notice heavy bolt lift but did not correlate that with the problem. Perhaps it was related. I did lighten the trigger return spring and "tuned" (10 years ago) the various screws to result in a 2# trigger. I would like a new trigger but PRS Practical requires the OEM trigger.

    Which Rangefinder

    I received my new Leupold RX-2800. To get the TBR to work you need to select a "Ballistic" group and that data is based on a 200 yard zero. Is a 200 yard zero typical for a PRS shooter?
