    The slow/fine focus is incredibly annoying and I always feel like I can never get it as perfect as I can with scopes utilizing a fast focus eyepiece. Is there a reason why scope manufacturers haven't switched to fast focus eyepieces for reticle focus?

    Yes, but keep it around in an AR10 form. After shooting the 6.5/6CM I've let the .308 bolt gun collect dust, but the AR10 in .308 has been a blast to shoot.

    Bringing this thread back up as I've just started shooting 2 cases of 6CM 115g Prime that I purchased. First off average velocity has been right about 2,905fps out of a 26" 7.5T Proof steel barrel - not even 60 rounds down the tube yet though so hopefully I pick up some nice velocity gains...

    300 PRC update

    2,887fps in a 26" with N565 and Hornady brass here. Ran my numbers compared to the 225g ELDM and I think you really need to be moving the A-tips mid 2,900's to get the most out of them in the PRC. Thinking of just switching back to the 225g ELDM and saving some money on components.

    I have not. But honestly, if AAC didn't cover it and Ecco couldn't fix it, I wouldn't be that ticked off, because prior to the Ecco conversion the thing was a useless paperweight to me anyways.

    I can't find where I saved it, but there's a gun shop out there that will hand fit your 51T taper section to your mount so you have the perfect lockup. They essentially just grind a little material off the taper so you can get that 1 last click. You're SOL with AAC on the warranty after you do...

    I had all but moth balled my SDN-6 because of the crappy 51T ratchet mount and then I found Ecco. I got mine back a couple months ago and have been very satisfied! I went with the Area 419 system as well. I'll say that the suppressor side mount needs to be cranked on pretty tight otherwise...
