    Long Range (100+yds) 22lr Hunting

    My longest kill on a ground squirrel was over 15 years ago, with a .22lr with my CZ 452 Varmint. Shot was a hair over 300 yards. If you and the gun are capable, do it. My longest kill shot with a pellet gun on a ground squirrel is 265 yards. 22lr has longer reach. Enjoy.

    I went with Rustoleum. Pick your colors. Pick up sponge, sponges. Remove action, clean stock. Outside set stock on surface to balance it. Spray paint onto a paper plate, cardboard, etc to get a 3"-4" area that puddles. Dab your sponge into the paint and then apply the painted sponge to the...

    I shoot on a farm once or twice a week that is 20 plus miles away. There are a couple of benches there. With machinery, tractors and trucks in the area, the dust gets bad. I will have to work on the prone position.

    Took the Bergy 14R and 10/22 out and shot CCI SV, Fed Target, Eley Club, Aguila PM, and RWS Target Rifle. I was surprised Fed Target shot more consistently than CCI SV. The Bergy shot Eley, Aguila and RWS best. Took the 10/22 out for the wife to shoot, once we were there she did not want to...
