Accessories WTB - XLR Thumb Rest and Bag Rider

Just picked up an XLR Envy kit for my kid's 22lr build and would like to add a thumb rest and bag rider if possible. They seem to be OOS online. If you have one or the other (or both would be awesome) laying around that you could spare, please let me know. Thank you.

Anyone have experience with Winchester's #41 SRP?

Keep on the lookout. Grafts had a bunch of 5k cases a couple days ago that were about $50 per box, which I assume will be the going price for those going forward.

You should be all set then to kill that barrel. 🤣👍

Reloading Equipment Berger 105 Hybrids available on Graf and Sons

Thanks for the heads up. Grabbed a couple boxes. Wish I could get more than 2. Comes to about $58 per 100 with shipping. I may start shooting A-Tips exclusively. :)

    6 GT with 105 / 108's ?

Might want to recheck those AMP codes. I get 142 for Hornady using pilot code 073C and Aztec. George Gardner says 141 for Alpha brass. If you are using Aztec, use pilot code 073C (I think this is a divergence with AMP's suggestions for GT, but it's George's advice). Maybe you're using a AMP Mk...

Inconsistent seating depth. What’s my problem?

If you're looking for a bit of a short cut, I've had good results throwing bullets in a ziplock baggie, spraying them liberally with Hornady One Shot, mixing them in the bag to get them nice a lubed up, throwing them in a bin to dry, and then loading. Also, if you are using stainless media or...

    Federal Match AR Primers

If the question is - are they safe to use in a 6 dasher bolt gun - the answer is yes, so long as you otherwise don’t screw anything else up in the process. The real questions for me would just be how do these primers perform from an ES/SD standpoint as compared to CCI 450s/41s, Fed 205m's, etc.

    Federal Match AR Primers

I haven't been able to snag any yet, but they should be perfectly fine for a dasher. Should be a small rifle magnum primer with a harder cup and/or modified anvil to help prevent slam fires. I assume it's in line with CCI #41, Win #41s, which reportedly act similar to CCI 450s or Fed. 205M (also...

Anyone have experience with Winchester's #41 SRP?

Thanks for the info Aftermath. I will try to remember to post my results once I get some range time. I typically get consistently better SD/ES numbers with CCI 450s/41s than 400s, which I happen to have more of at the moment. My hope is the Win. #41s offer similar lower numbers.

Anyone have experience with Winchester's #41 SRP?

I picked up a few boxes recently and believe they are fairly new to the civilian market (I may be wrong on that). There appears to be little information about them online. My assumption is they should be interchangeable with CCI #41 and, for all intents and purposes, CCI 450s (which have a...

    Reloading Equipment Primers for sale!

"It is what it is," while a catchy phrase, is a meaningless phrase. It's used all too often as a defeatist phrase. Applied uniformly, it's a good way to be steamrolled by life and dismiss the notion that your actions can alter the reality around you. Not an indictment of you, Bob2650 (you seem...

    Reloading Equipment Primers for sale!

I don't disagree with anything you've said, and I think most folks on this forum have a decent handle on supply and demand. But the uncool aspect of this is Midway's rather unique response as compare to Brownell's, Graft's, Natchez, Scheel's, and [insert name of other large and typically...

    Reloading Equipment Small Pistol Primers

Also, the ORMD label for loaded rounds went bye bye at the beginning of 2021. Just FYI. Carriers will reject packages with that label. As stated above, you cannot legally ship primers without hazmat papers. Primed brass is somehow totally fine though. These rules make such great sense. 🥴

    WTB wtb left hand T1X

You can backorder the lefty Tikka 22lr on Optics Planet I think and I believe 17hmr versions have been sold and can be found sometimes in the US. There were a number of news articles when Tikka made the announcement that should still be available online.

    WTB wtb left hand T1X

They announced it last year I think, but I don't believe they have actually been imported yet. Bergera is also supposed to have a lefty 22lr come out, but it may be the same situation.

    Accessories Wtb - henderson trimmer

You should probably email Todd and get on the notification list. His trimmers show up much less frequently on here than even Giraurd trimmers (which is exceedingly rare). In any event, good luck. I’m still waiting for the one I ordered a few weeks back.
