    Is anyone making a mag throw lever that fits a S&B 5-20 ultra-short? Can't seem to find any info on them other than S&B released one at SHOT. I'd don't really care who makes it as long as I find something that works. Thanks.

    What the hell...I'm bored. Not in my opinion, if you're going to use the term "battle rifle" loosely. I'd take a well built/equipped AR platform SPR in .223 any day of the week. Battle involves putting holes in bad guys and in that light the SCAR is kind of a rookie. Maybe a very good one...

    I wouldn't argue that it doesn't work, its just that you have so many other direction indicators I haven't found it necessary, and direction at the shooter doesn't necessarily equate to direction at max ordinance or down range. That's why god made trees, pine needles, Spanish moss, and mirage ;)...

    Only problem there is that direction is rarely steady. I often see it switch randomly from 7 o'clock to 9 o'clock (as an example) so getting the impellor to stop can be next to impossible. I just throw a handful of dirt/grass in the air and get a pretty good read and most ranges have a flagpole.

    While we're on this topic...once a solution is reached, is the spin drift value already added to the WS1/WS2 values, or is this a separate value to be accounted for by the user?

    I think I already know the answer to this but on this screen image (assuming I've already captured direction of fire) when I select wind direction and perform a "capture", it not only captures direction but also captures the speed data to populate WS1 & WS2 correct?

    Quick question on this feature in AB link...in this window at the bottom of the screen do you insert the full MV number w/current OAT or just the FPS per degree of temp change like you do in shooter?

I had a rifle I hadn't touched in 2 years and thought it would be a great idea to upgrade the bolt. I broke 2 triggers due to a bolt issue, didn't have glass until the week...

    Definitely an awesome match. I talked to Tyler about his rig...its crazy that you can run about anything through a gasser now. The sport is moving so fast its almost hard to keep up. I'd definitely have been better off running .223. I probably wasted 3 seconds per shot just getting back on...

    Mostly because of the time component. A 7.62 gasser does not lend itself to rapid follow-ups to the same degree that a .223 does. I can easily send 2 accurate rounds down range with a .223 for every one I can send with a .308 simply due to vastly reduced recoil and faster follow-ups/quicker...

    Anyone else going? Still on the fence over what to run but I signed up for Tac-Heavy. Starting to think this match will be more 5.56 friendly.
