Rifle Scopes Some news for TT owners/those in the market

Anything close to that reticle and I’ll have a new TT in a heartbeat. You’ve created basically my ideal reticle, and what I hope TT has in mind when they say they’re going to float the center, and add more detail.

Rifle Scopes Some news for TT owners/those in the market

Yeah it sucks that I’m gonna have to sell my TT525 just for a new reticle. Even at NF’s $600 price for a reticle swap id still do it. They cited staked screws and having to clean everything as making it too expensive, but I don’t know if too expensive means $500 or $2k.

Rifle Scopes Some news for TT owners/those in the market

Yeah, when I asked about reticles the woman giggled, apparently they’ve been hearing it a lot. They were also way more personable this year compared to last.

Rifle Scopes Some news for TT owners/those in the market

Well, I talked to TT about the one thing that keeps people from buying their scopes (besides price) Reticles. They should have a new reticle out in 4-6 months, the plan being to take a Gen2XR, float the center, and add more detail. Great news! Just about the perfect reticle IMO is something...

    Bergara b14 HMR

Any word on if the Begara’s drop in standard 700 chassis? I know lowlight had one in a Cadex chassis at one point, but I don’t know if it was custom or standard 700. I believe they take standard 700 triggered too?

Rifle Scopes Scope decision for my Desert Tech SRS-A1

IMO the toolless rezeroing turrets of the TT525 compliment the SRS quick change barrel perfectly, but I understand not everyone drops 4K on a scope.

    AR308 Help (and drama inside)

I got a response from proof, they state that they’ve seen this issue before, and it’s due to the cam pin raceway in the upper being too big, allowing the bolt to rotate some before going into battery, chipping the extension. I don’t believe this was the issue with the first Aero upper and BCG...

Rifle Scopes Leupold Mk5 Lineup Pics

At this point it hurts to see Leupold get so close, and still be so far away. That magnification ring is really ugly. The turrets could look better, but they’re not bad. the lack of modern reticles is dumb. Reticles are probably one of the main reasons vortex does as well as they do. 3-18 is...

    AR308 Help (and drama inside)

The upper is due for delivery today (so much for “next day air”) so I’ll hopefully take a look this afternoon. I did recieve a response from proof. They said they’ve seen this issue before, and it’s typically due to the cam pin raceway being too large, allowing the bolt to rotate some, clipping...

Rifle Scopes Input on TT scopes

I’ve had my TT525P for 5-6 months, it sits on a Remington 700 LR in 300wm, in an AI legacy chassis. NF rings, larue base. hands down the best turrets. Period. There is no comparison. Glass is top notch, parallax is very forgiving, and the magnification ring is very smooth. Illumination is nice...

    AR308 Help (and drama inside)

I noticed that Mega’s website states their uppers are only compatible with their lowers. Is this the case? Or is this something they put as a suggestion to get you to buy their lower too? Quite honestly we may end up just buying a whole different reciever set, but I’d like to know all of my...

    AR308 Help (and drama inside)

I saw that proof’s chart recommended the the JP HP bolt for their .260s and 6.5cm, but wasn’t a need for .308s. Do you think the JP would still be the best option? And I saw that proof offers select extensions for Armalite, falkor, etc. but their standard barrels are made with DPMS extensions...

    AR308 Help (and drama inside)

So my father, upon the urge to build an AR308, purchases an Aero precision m5 upper and lower, SLR rifleworks rail, GB, and Gas tube, various bits and bobs to complete the lower, and a Proof research barrel. After assembly and test fire of ~40 rounds, some rather significant chipping on the...

It was a typo in my post that he’s making a big deal about. I guess he’s just in a pissy mood.

Will these be up on the website? I’m assuming I missed the 1st 100 but I’d love to buy one! ETA never mind, found it!

    The Fix from Q

Anyone thought about the larue 308 mags for a little extra seating depth? 20rd might be a little long but I think the mags can get out to 2.870ish IIRC

    The Fix from Q

I actually have a 22” 6.5cm on order from my dealer to use in a guardian match in April (assuming it gets here). I have little PRS experience, so take what I say as such, but I think the only area low weight will hurt is in recoil, spotting your shots, but I think I good brake will make this...
