    seating depth varying by 1/100th

    Is there any crud on the inside of your hornaday comparator? The other day, my rcbs mic suddenly started giving erratic readings. I cleaned some buildup out of the inside and the readings settled back to within a thousandths of each other.

    I just hand primed 45 rounds of once fired Norma 308 with no issues last weekend. I used CCI 200 and the RCBS universal hand priming tool. I did uniform the primer pockets with a Lyman case prep station beforehand.

    I'm no expert, but the guy in the video's version of "supertuning" the Jewell trigger appears to be maximum overtravel. That's absurd. There's a medium range that should work just fine, even in field conditions.

    I could use more of a response on this. I will be shooting from 100 to 1200 yards. Is it sufficient to sort brass into 1 grain buckets? Is that too broad or too fine? What about other components? Thanks.
