    first off my first "precision" rifle of choice was a 20" rem5r. recommended from a friend who used one as duty rifle. out of the box i found the action to be very smooth but the trigger was awefully inconsistant. not the biggest fan of the stock as well, l.o.p. is short and the fat ass palm...

    i picked up a rem 5r 20" in .308. though i've only put 50rds so far i'm very pleased with it. my only dislike so far is the x-mark trigger, not consistant at all. so if you end up gettin a remmy go ahead a get a trigger. i'd still vote for the 5r

    Re: my new rem 5r I been looking through some nightforce scopes 3-15 and 5-22's. I had picked up a NF 2.5-10x32 npr2 last year and flipped it to get a bigger one but i'm really kicking myself now cause it would been perfect for my springfield M1A. Havent got to look through a F1 yet though...

    Re: Removing stuck brass from an AR I've had to apply more than a "tap" to get mine free a few times. It took a vise, sturdy rod and sizeable hammer with generous force. I no longer use sketchy ammo. Like mentioned above be sure the bolt is in fact not in battery

    Re: Which Cabala's inexpensive 5.56mm ammo? I had picked up a 500rd can of american eagle from cabelas and it was bout 200$ after tax. Had used any yet but i'm sure they are good to go i've used american eagles for years in my S&W.

    Re: Springfield M1A I've only put 40rds of the cheap win 147's through it so far and was getting bout 2-2.5" with a few 3.5 -4" flyers. I picked up a few different brands to try out and should have a range report within the next few days
