Max published load for H4350 in .260 Rem (139 Scenar)?

If the bullet is on the lands or jammed in a tad that will give higher pressure... not saying it is nor not.. i havent shot 139 scensars... they are shaped different than a berger tho so i donno... in any case i would worry about accuracy over speed. If you have a node under 42 play with...

Max published load for H4350 in .260 Rem (139 Scenar)?

260 tactical reamer was developed by dave kiff at pacific tool and gauge.. It is a 260 remington with a slightly longer freebore to allow for seating berger 140gr and sierra 142 gr bullets slightly longer. Thats the chamber I am running. because with a regular 260 rem and those bullets you...

Lol i actually didnt read post #9 before i posted... but its true... i verified it with recording data each time i shot over the last 2 years with my grendel... just makes for a click here and click there for elevation... imo no powder is perfectly temp stable even if it says it... there...

    R15 vs Varget

I use RE15 for a 22 250 and 6.5 grendel. My velocity changes about a max of 80 fps between 30 degrees and 110 degrees ambient air temp... ive had more luck with re15 than varget... i actually dont have a single rifle that will shoot varget yet....

    260 Rem Load Worries

When I first got my 260 I ran a ladder test all the way up to 45gr of H4350 which was over published max... I didn't have pressure signs, but I didn't have any accuracy either... they didn't group. Hopefully I will get the sweet spot here between 41gr and 42 gr... I have .2 gr increments...

first try with a ladder test

Looks good at 42gr... play with seating depth and see how it repeats itself and if it holds accuracy enough to say it likes that... 3rd pic looks good

bergers usually like as close to the lands as you can get them... at least imo! I shoot these same bullets, or have been testing them... but I am not sold on them yet.
