    Re: AR Barrel Nut with a strap wrench question.. tighten it down until its snug, then go to the next gas tube hole. you might have to torque then loosen a few times to get it to tighten up enough to line up on the next gas tube hole correctly.

    Can anyone help me get a full auto M14 apart? Customer (LEO) wants it put into a sage stock, and i cannot get the operating rod out because of the full auto parts. I dont think i need to take the full auto mechanism all the way apart just to field strip the gun.

    Overall it wasnt too bad, 2.5 hours and a million questions. ended up w/ one small infraction because i didnt sign a 4473 i did last week. definatly a shock and i was pretty nervous the whole time, but i came out of it pretty unscathed w/ a license still intact.
