    POF in 6.5 Creedmoor!

I always wanted one of the ones that was basically custom but now it looks like they have 6.5 Creedmoor as a standard option. Anyone been shooting one of these? Positives or negatives? Before I drop $2600 or so on one I want to know the experience that people have had since there seems to be...

Re: Anyone have experience with Gemini Customs?? Have nothing from Gemini at present but have used them for piece work in the past and been very happy. I'm sure a complete gun would be fine.

Rifle Scopes How are IOR Rings?

Re: How are IOR Rings? I've always had great luck with the IOR rings (and bases). My issue with them (and this is from years ago, I haven't bought any in a while) was that they used soft metal in the screws and it was EASY to mess them up. Simply change screws and everything is good. I...

    Gun financing

Re: Gun financing I think that Buds Guns has a financing option if you're buying through them. Not sure of terms or anything but it's something to look at if they have what you want.

Rifle Scopes S&B Short Dot 1-4: Still a contender?

Not long ago the S&B Short Dot seemed to be the relatively undisputed king of low-power variables. Now the market is lousy with most places putting out AT LEAST a 1-4 power optic and many now at 1-6 or even 1-8 power or greater. Is the S&B Short Dot still a contender, then? In regard to...

Rifle Scopes SWFA Samplelist and Trade in information requested

Re: SWFA Samplelist and Trade in information requested They normally give a fair value on a trade-in and prices are decent on their scopes. I've bought from them before and will again. They know pricing well enough that I'm always torn between using them vs. selling something myself and...

Trigger for new AR-10 - Geissele, Jard, other?

Re: Trigger for new AR-10 - Geissele, Jard, other? I took the plunge and bought a Geissele, even though the price was offensive to me for "nothing but a trigger". I figured I'd try it out, find out that the hype was just hype, and then sell it for 80% or so of what I had in it with my...

best lightweight bolt guns for the money?

Re: best lightweight bolt guns for the money? My personal favorite is the Remington Model 7. My older one in .308 with iron sights and rarely a scope is my "go to" gun and probably my most-used bolt gun. I don't think that the relatively limited caliber selection hinders it. There's not a...

Info Request RE: B&C and HS Precision stocks

I have a Remington 700 in .338 Winchester Magnum that has a Remington detachable magazine. I want to change stocks and put it in either a B&C or HS Precision stock but neither company's site is all that great in regard to showing someone exactly which stock to choose. The choices are those two...

Sidearms & Scatterguns Browning HI power

Re: Browning HI power Yes, the Pro Mags suck badly and always have. I've only owned three but had trouble out of each of them in a variety of hi-powers (I'm a hi-power fanboy) and so they were relegated to range use only. They're good to practice malfunction clearances.
