Most of my precision rifle scopes have sunshades and Aadland caps or Tenebraex caps (no I don't use the ARDs). Besides the benefits in the few situations that you would need a sunshade, they do help protect the objective threads, and I have shot mateches in the rain where they kept my objective...
Every ring I can think of, Leupold, Seekins, Vortex, Nightforce, Spuhr, ARC, Badger, TPS, etc. all have some markings somewhere indicating the mfr. If there are no markings anywhere perhaps you have chinese made airsoft rings?
The CDG action offers two bolt handle configurations. The conventional configuration has a fixed bolt handle and primary extraction is by the conventional way of opening the bolt bears on a camming surface that provides primary extraction. The pivoting bolt handle configuration has a pivoting...
Semi auto rifles are almost never as accurate as bolt guns. Particularly large frame ARs are harder to get to run well and shoot accurately compared to a bolt gun. Plus bolt guns are easier to maintain and cleaner (no dirty direct impingement gas systems). The advantage of a semi auto in a...
There are many makers of barrel vises, this is the one that I have, the Short Action Customs (SAC) modular barrel vise:

It's on the upper end of the price range, but the less expensive SAC Bravo barrel vise is also excellent.
If...
If you can get and use a torque wrench, barrel vise, and action wrench, you can put the pieces together yourself. Start buy buying a modern action that gunsmiths make shouldered prefit barrels for. They make them for the actions that reliably hold tolerances so tight that the gunsmith doesn't...
I just got my Carbon Grey mount and it's high quality and works well. For the price it's an excellent value and includes an Arca clamp. Shipping was super quick, I ordered it on Tuesday and got it today, 2 days later.
For ARs I use the Tactical Brass Recovery (TBR) catcher and it's expensive but works great. For my bolt gun in matches I use the MPA brass catcher which also works very well, with my ARC Archimedes action, I just need to make sure to run the bolt firmly so the cases get thrown into the catcher...
For a rifle barrel, copper and nickel anti seize will work equally well, nickel is a premium anti seize suitable for extremely high temperatures, but for what we're using them for, they both are fine.
I use nickel anti seize, but Aeroshell 64 would probably work just fine. The AE is a conventional barrel torqued onto the receiver and I would use anti seize (or your Aeroshell 64) on the barrel threads
Did you adjust the ocular properly? Not doing that right will give you a blurry reticle and blurry image

I don't have one but my friend who has the 4-16, 5-25, and 7-35 ATACR has let me...
It looks like corrosion but until you swab it out with solvent and a penetrating oil like Eezox or Kroil, it's hard to know for certain. However, I've seen barrels that looked bad inside that shot very well, so I'd probably clean it with solvent then go shoot it...
You can get profit Tikka barrels from PVA. Other than that, I agree that in todays world it doesn't make sense to get any action that doesn't have profit barrels available.
In this megathread, @Frank Green talked a little about having his barrels coming back for issues where BT products might have something to do with it.

Well I did have...
Depends on what you want out of the rifle. Since you don't want to sink a ton of money into it I'd get a Tikka T3x Compact Tactical Rifle (CTR) in 6.5 Creedmoor. 6.5 CM is just as easy to load as 308, if not easier, components cost less and the rifle has about 40% less recoil and 40% less wind...
This AW belonged to one of my best friends and we sold a bunch of guns through Lock Stock and Barrel. The gun was in great condition with a bunch of extras, but we were surprised by the bidding and the ending price. I sold an 08 AW with OEW 308 barrel, original OD thumbhole stocksides...
Guys, your jokes are funny, but I'd give him the benefit of doubt. He's new to the site and from Romania. Which if you're in Europe you have probably never seen a scope with minute of angle adjustments.
Minute of angle is just another angular measurement. A minute of angle, in short form, is...
