    It doesn't have to have the m8541 markings on it, but the same specs like body, turrets, and gen 2 mil dot reticle.

    .001 thick shims

    I’m not at the shop now to measure, but I’m almost positive they come with some .001” shims. There are punch sets you can get to make the id and od whatever size you want out of shim stock, but it doesn’t look like it leaves a clean edge. Looks like it rolls the edge.

    Other than 6.5 Creedmoor and 308, what is the next wildcard cartridge to go big on the AR10 platform?

    With sig's new bi metal design at 80 KSI, I can see that running alright in a bolt gun (poor throats). But how is that going to work long term on a gas gun? Even with long gas tubes, small gas ports, and heavy BCG's/Buffers that system is going to be running violent with that kind of pressure...

    So I see what you are saying here, and this makes sense. What about the added drag of the increasing yaw angles at longer ranges. I'm guessing this has something to do with it as well?
