    I am setting up a 10" pistol in 300 BLK. It will shoot subsonic EXCLUSIVELY. 1) What weight buffer do I need??? 2) Do I need an adjustable gas block?? 3) what else am I forgetting?? This is a DI set up, not a piston.

    My Forbes Rifle in 30-06 is beating me up! The light rifle with a stoutly loaded 180gr is just a bit too much to call "fun" to shoot. I want to put a brake on it. The OD is .610". Does 1/2-28 make the barrel too thin for a high pressure 30 cal? Will I have enough shoulder if I go 9/16-24?

    Trimming

    I have to take about an 1/8" off of a 308 case. I have seen trimmers that mount to a press using 7/8 x14 thread. Will this type of trimmer take off that much metal? The thought of doing it with my Lyman means I'll never get the gun up and running.
