Advanced Marksmanship Moving from the Bench to Prone sights are off?
Today I brought out my new Savage 10FP in 308 to play with the snipershide tactical targets at 100yards. I got my scope sighted in for 100 yards dead nuts right off the bench. There is a lot of info on the average distance of shots taken by law enforcement snipers. Sporter barrel on a tactical rifle?
I have a Remington 700 SPS in 300 win mag. I'd like to enter some tactical shooting matches when I get proficient enough with it. It seems every tactical rifle I see has a heavy barrel on it.
