    I am wondering what cartridge boast the best ballistics that can be compared to a .308 meaning it achieves better ballistic efficiency with regards to recoil, velocity, and high BC bullets? .260 Rem, 6.5x47 Lapua, .243AI, 6mm BRX, 7mm-08, etc?

    Going from Lapua brass to Win brass .308

    I use 43.0gr RE-15 in Lapua brass with 178gr A-Max. I got some BHA brass I want to load. How much should I up the charge to compensate for extra case capacity of the Win/BHA brass? I was thinking 0.5% which would put it at 43.2 - 43.3 does that sound reasonable?

    .308 at 1 mile video

    Not my video but he says .308 at 1 mile with 155 Sierra over 45 gr Varget. According to JBM (est 2900 fps) thats around 120" elevation at 100y to make that hit. Wonder how big that rock actually is. Bullet TOF is ~ 4 sec and bullet according to JBM has been subsonic for 750 yards...
