    .243 1/7 or 1/8tw for the heavies??

    Im getting ready to get a barrel for my .243 for some 105 amax's and 105 vld's. Would you take the 1/8 if it was available now or wait an extra month for a 1/7?

    Berger or A-max for 7mmRM

    I ran a few ballistic charts on JBM. I bought a few 162 a-max's as my barrel was reamed and throated to run the amax's. At 3000fps on both bullets the berger 180 is beating out the amax. But if I get the amax up to 3100fps or so it beats the berger out to 1200yds. My question is does it pay off...

    I have a friend that found out I reload and he bought a bunch of powder. I was originally going to reload his .243 for him so he bought 8lbs of it. Has anyone ever used this power in a 7mm? If so is it ok, descent, horrible etc etc.
