    22-250 savage twist rates and types?

    I just bought a savage 12fv in 22-250 and it has a 1-12" twist. That limits me to 55 or 60 grainers. If I was to get a 1-8 or a 1-7" so that I could shoot maybe a 70-80 grain on occasion, but I would still want to shoot some light weights. would the fast twist screw up the lighter weights? I was...
