Does 6.8 offer anything over 308?

In use. I understand that it can be used with an AR15 length action, but I am not limited to that. If I am starting from scratch, does the 6.8 offer anything over a 308 in an AR platform? For the sake of this thread, lets presume that the rifles are identical in price. Thanks

Rifle Scopes "Tactical" fixed power scopes under 10x?

I was browsing the Leupold custom shop in the fixed power category. I was looking at the 6x, and tried to get a custom reticle. Ideally, the SPR reticle would be great if calibrated for 6x, but isn't listed as available. I believe Leupold will do just about any reticle in any scope if you call...
