Blueprinting and Truing
OK a couple months ago I was shooting 3/4 MOA at 100m. Put a new trigger on the rifle, and now it seems I can only get fist size groups. Is it this nut behind the gun? I shoot a Rem 700 .308 with a B&C stock. and 24" barrel. Conditions....It was windy about 15-20 mph winds at about 1/8 to 1/2...- Monkey Medic 83

Finding the prefered ammo
I have a R700 .308 varmint 24" (pretty sure 1:12 twist factory barrel). Leupold Mk4 glass, stock pro-x trigger lightened to 4lbs, and a B&C Mk2 stock. the other day i shot: SWA 155 OTM, HSM Hornady 168 Amax, and SWA 175 SMK in the beginning the 175 SMK was making same hole shots at 100yds...- Monkey Medic 83

ProX trigger blows my goat
I adjusted my ProX trigger to the lightest setting, except its still about a 6-7# pull....f**king unacceptable. Anyways a buddy of mine from work who is huge into long range shooting and is a member of the forum (dont remember his screen name) told me to get a Jewell trigger. Twist rate for a R700 .308
I have a R700 in 308, it says the twist rate is 1:12 but i've read that some people have bought them with with a 1:10 even though it says 1:12 on the package. How do I tell what my twist rate is?- Monkey Medic 83
