Rifle Scopes Lowest 40 mm rings for a Swarovski ds?
I am getting a Swarovski ds scope and am planning on installing it on a pre 64 Winchester Model 70. I am looking for the lowest height rings in 40 mm diameter. Everything I find seems rather high. Gunsmithing Can you modify a short action stock for a long action
I have seen some good deals on McMillan stocks for FN / Winchester 70 short actions. How hard would it be to reinlet them for a long action? It looks like LRI can fill and inlet any stock for anything. I have access to a milling machine and have done quite a few devcon bedding jobs.. so I have...- Odindad

Suppressors Did TBAC ever try the 6.5-338 ultra?
On the old scout site I asked if TBAC ever tried reducing the bore of the 338 ultra to 6.5 or .30 . There seemed to be some interest then the site changed and I forgot for a while. Just curious if it was ever built and how it metered.- Odindad
