Payment sent this morning on wraith 4K mini and add on IR illuminator. Thanks again for taking the time to send extra pics. Great guy to deal with. Forgot to add in Fuck Joe Biden.
Have you handled the 4K 4-32x50? If so, which one between it and the mini 4K 2-16 is a better suited unit for an AR platform for shots from 50-250? Definitely have these on my radar for cheap intro to night hunting coyotes.
Thanks. I felt like I could use the 66 for a while and upgrade it later for milling. I’ve pretty much decided this Archer chain won’t stay sharp after tonight. I made one slab and the chain went to throwing baby powder and not wanting to cut. I definitely want a larger saw, but the 66 will have...
I’m having trouble keeping ripping chains sharp in a little walnut log I’m slabbing. No signs of any foreign objects to hit in the log, but lots of thick bark. Could the thicker bark be killing me? It’s a 13’ log that’s 25” diameter and I can only make one pass and I need to switch chains or...

Well I purchased the Granberg mill and made my first cut with it last night. I just used a board screwed to the log to set my first flat cut. Hoping to have time after work today to cut a few slabs off of this walnut log. Thanks for the suggestions, the mill seems very well built. We will see...
Thanks for the replies guys! This is the information I expected. I’ve been looking at a Granberg and then ran across some cheaper versions. The cheaper ones made me pause and look, but in the back of my head I expected to get what I paid for too. Do you guys run a ripping chain while milling?
I’m just a newb here so maybe my opinion means nothing, but I used a Compass Lake Engineering 17.9” SPR Barrel for mine in the Wylde chamber. I used the 1-7.7 twist Criterion-SS. It’s a very accurate barrel. I also added the matched bolt from CLE while ordering. With Hornady 75gr BTHP Match...
