Traveling Question
I don’t know if it’s the correct way, but I just leave mine attached to my rifle in it’s case in the back seat of my truck. From what I understand is as long as it’s legal in that state you’re allowed to bring it with you.- Brandon214

Yes, the split option does still exist, or did when I went through MEPS in 2007. I was supposed to be split op initially until an issue arrows and I was able to get it changed and went to Ft. Knox the next year and completed OSUT.- Brandon214
