So...in other words, you need an FFL. In additional other words - universal background checks.

So, we can carry in federal buildings now?

I'm pretty sure OP is referencing: UNITED STATES v. AYALA (2024) United States District Court, M.D. Florida, UNITED STATES of America, v. Emmanuel AYALA, Defendant Decided: January 12, 2024 The short version: Ayala worked as a truck driver for the USPS. He routinely carried a handgun in a...

Suppressors Dedicated 9mm PCC can & short barrel 5.56 can suggestions

I own a DA Wolfman (used on an MP5 clone semi-auto host) and will provide comment regarding the PCC can. I'm in for comments on the SBR can, as I'm in the market for a similarly featured suppressor. Although I'm not dissatisfied with the Wolfman, there are features I paid for that I don't use...

    Floating Firing Pin Slam Fire

In 30 years of shooting, I've experienced one slam fire. Rifle: PWS 10.5" upper on a DPMS lower. Slash's XH buffer and an XP spring installed to reduce gas-to-face when shooting suppressed. I had just installed a RRA NM 2 Stage trigger in this lower the day before from another rifle. The...

    HK SP5 Trigger?

Bill Springfield triggers are hit or miss...sometimes great, sometimes dangerous. Reviews for his triggers are all over the place. Timney triggers are having some minor QC issues. Nothing safety related that I've read so far. Seems like they have a failure to reset sometimes. I don't recall...

    Broken Bolt?

To clarify, this is a PWS original generation upper. No ability to add an adjustable gas block (that I'm aware of).

    Broken Bolt?

I have a PWS Mk 110 upper (.223 Wylde, non-adjustable gas) from circa 2011 or 2012 - sheared off a bolt lug yesterday. I purchased the upper new and have been running a SiCo Specwar 762 suppressor on it. 99% of rounds fired have been suppressed. I ended up running an XH carbine buffer from...

    Suppressors Mp5/sp5/ap5 what silencer!?

It comes with a 1/2x28 thread adapter. If you want trilug, you'll have to order DA Part# 444, which will screw right in to the breech end of the Wolfman. And start looking for one from every source that carries them the moment you decide to go with the Wolfman, as they don't come in stock...

    Suppressors Mp5/sp5/ap5 what silencer!?

When I was shopping for a suppressor for an MP5 a couple years ago, I narrowed the list down to the Dead Air Wolfman, the SilencerCo Omega 9k, and the GSL Phoenix. I ended up choosing the DA Wolfman. Here's my take on the Wolfman. Caveat: It's the only pistol caliber suppressor I own or have...

How's the quality at PTR lately?

PTR9 purchased in 2021 has been flawless as far as function is concerned. Not very accurate, though.

Optics Blurry - Are My Eyes Going Bad?

I'm noticing lately that when I get behind a rifle with a magnified optic, that after only a minute or two of shooting, everything starts getting blurry. By everything, I mean both the target and the reticle. I'm pretty sure this isn't the fault of the optic, because it doesn't matter if I'm...

    Win #41 vs CCI#41

It's a(nother) sign that Winchester primers are garbage. This is par for the course with WIN primers. Is it pressure? Sure. Just way less pressure than should be required for this to happen.

    BIDENS STABILIZER BAN

I don't see that this has been published in the Federal Register, yet. Which seems incredibly odd that they announced this 'final rule' on January 13 (11 days ago) and it hasn't been published. For those more knowledgeable than me, is this timeline out of the ordinary or pretty typical? I...

Reloading and gun storage in a shed

In Minnesota: My reloading bench is in a heated & insulated 30'x40' pole building with concrete floor. No air conditioning, but I do run a dehumidifier in the summer and easily keep humidity at 45%. The dehumidifier gets emptied about every 2-4 days, depending how sticky it's been outside...

CE ProChrono Died of Old Age

Well, shucks. My Competition Electronics ProChrono purchased in 1998 died of old age today. It was a nice 24 years. Probably gonna stick with an optical chronograph. The LabRadar is just too much money and I do too much work over the chrono with handguns to justify a MagnetoSpeed.

    Opinions on SiCo ASR mounts?

I've used the SiCo ASR on the following weapons with a Specwar 762 since about 2014. All are braked except the 300BO which has a flash hider. The only issue I have is occasional carbon lock on the bolt action 6.5 CM. It's pretty frequent on that one actually, but never on the others. And it...

Suppressors Dead Air key micro question

You reckon this applies, even with the Stellite baffles of the Sandman? Similar to OP (but with 5.56), I'm looking to add the Sandman to a 10.5" 5.56 rifle and was thinking flash suppressor, simply because the SiCo 3 chamber ASR brake it's got on it now is tooth-rattling loud when firing...

    Savage MKII/93 magazine options

I ordered 2x of the 10 round Csspecs magazines from eBay. Smooth transaction and 100% reliability over roughly 100 rounds (each) so far. Much better than the Savage mags. Do recommend.
