I am a IOR fan but honestly i do not see the terminator as practical its simply to big 1/4mo klicks are too large,for target shooting i would rather stick to their 9-36x spider (you want 1/8moa clicks) if you want very high magnification i would chose Khales K1050 instead ,for tactical rifle i...- Mr.T

400$ Weaver T36 wins these kind of matches all the time and that doesn't make it best scope of the job it just good enough . In BR weight is the driving factor to many scope choices. March is very light for given magnification.But still wouldn't be in my top 5 choice for a tactical scope .- Mr.T

Still fired up are we .:rolleyes: New Recon sort of took the parallax issue that was the bane of one gen of ior FFP scopes head on with a bit funky solution that should make the paralax element quite recoil proof- Mr.T

You sure seem to be quite fired up :D so i will indulge you some more, just for fun. i like you do not have the mid tube thickness ( i would guess is close to 0.1) but as mentioned it takes a lot (70+%)of additional thickness to to close the gap doesn't matter if the base line is 0.04 or 0.15...- Mr.T

Did a rough calculation and assumed same thickness and same materials ,If i take something between 1-3mm wall thickness (cca0.04-0.12) as i can not measure scope tube thickness in mid tube things only change a couple of % up or down and you need roughly 70% more wall thickness to equal 40mm...- Mr.T

Of the 4 scopes that tracked perfectly only Hensoldt had a slight cant of reticle But all tests are subject to individual scopes tested,luck of a draw, every time you would remake this test with different batch of scopes results would vary in the parts that depend of individual scope build...- Mr.T

Could be but from my personal expirience IOR is quite polarising no other brand comes close and first couple of gens had problems . On the other hand what i see with many top brands is suprising tolerance form their users for thier flaws ,must be good if its so expensive kind of logic. LOL- Mr.T

I vote for IOR , own a couple a 9-36x56 and 4-28x50Recon both work flawlessly great glass ,perfect tracking ,great turrets , only handicap is weight but that comes with rugged construction . and unileke most scopes that are cheaper in US than in Europe, IOR is much cheaper in Europe than the...- Mr.T
