There’s a good bit of difference bn reg and full power, especially on the Illuminator.

Nice. I ordered one a set from tnvc. Ordered with the rpo 3 lenses to cut down on the weight. I plan on using them for work, but even then, I only wear them here and there.
I had a pair of 1531s but was always too nervous about the plastic housing and me running through the brush chasing...

Don’t count out the 1531’s if you want to save a couple thousand. Same tubes, adjustable diopter, and pvs 14 objectives that can be replaced with common parts.
You give up a few oz’s.
Also the dtnvs is pretty nice with filmless tubes.
Supposedly w the 1531s and the batt pack, you get 40 to 50 hours on lithiums. I’m at about 30 hours and still going strong. I don’t put a battery in the unit.
