    It’s here. Got it yesterday. So far I like it. Really like the throw switch to adjust the illuminator. There’s a good bit of difference bn reg and full power, especially on the Illuminator. Weight is 7.5 oz w/o battery. 8oz w battery.

    Nice. I ordered one a set from tnvc. Ordered with the rpo 3 lenses to cut down on the weight. I plan on using them for work, but even then, I only wear them here and there. I had a pair of 1531s but was always too nervous about the plastic housing and me running through the brush chasing...

    Don’t count out the 1531’s if you want to save a couple thousand. Same tubes, adjustable diopter, and pvs 14 objectives that can be replaced with common parts. You give up a few oz’s. Also the dtnvs is pretty nice with filmless tubes.

    Night Vision PVS1531 + COTI Battery Issues (with and w/o battery pack)

    Supposedly w the 1531s and the batt pack, you get 40 to 50 hours on lithiums. I’m at about 30 hours and still going strong. I don’t put a battery in the unit. No clue on the splitter situation

    No. There are two screws in the back. Just unscrew them and run the screws through the loops.

    Night Vision Flip caps for Night vision.

    A lot of guys use them. Also you can drill about a 5 to 6mm hole in them and make it like a hop lite refocusing lens cap.
