    Everyone has a great experience with Vortex CS. That’s what you pay for when you buy a Vortex. Keep sending it back and they will keep fixing it or sending a replacement. I’ve had 5 Vortex scopes and all of them needed to go back for one reason or another. Their CS is great!

    Zoom/Magnification, too much of a good thing?

    I will always prefer higher quality optics/clarity to magnification. 15x-18x is more than enough mag if the sight picture is clear enough. Over magnifying blur and distortion isn’t a good thing.

    I have both and I feel the 4-20 is slightly better optically. Both are superb scopes. If I could keep only 1 it would be the 4-20.

    Vortex Viper HS - Would not hold zero (told rings were overtorqued, but they weren't). Vortex Viper HS - Replacement for above, received with severely canted reticle. Vortex Razor AMG - Would not focus past 800 yds. Vortex Razor Gen 2 - Elevation turret, extremely difficult to lock/unlock...

    I had a Viper that had to be sent in for repair. They said the same thing, over torqued rings. I think that's their go to when a scope fails. They send me a new scope. The reticle was canted about 30° right out of the box. Great customer service, and plan on using it. I've had 6 items made...

    I purchased a second ZCO through CS Tactical a couple months ago and also got the ZCO rings. Very happy with them. Extremely high quality and a perfect match for the scope.
