    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

Daystate can definitely push them. Medium power goes supersonic with 16 gr pellets. 25 gr. stay subsonic on medium. 50+ fpe (The “crack” is not backyard friendly)

    Garmin Xero C1 Pro chronograph

Yeah, I know “air rifles.” Three different rifles, 5 different pellet sizes, and over 100 shots fired - not a single missed recording. Impossible with the LR.

    Fill station compressor for HPA

You’ll go through several rebuilds, tear downs and replacements of all cheap compressors before you eventually end up with an Alkin W31 or give up. I had two tanks and eventually dropped the $$ on an Alkin - I wish I had done it a long time ago, it’s that nice. 2500 to 4500 psi in 7 minutes...

    Peterson Virgin Brass Pressure Signs

I dunno about Peterson = junk. I have 20 firings on the same Peterson 6.5 brass loaded at 41.5 gr 4350 through 3 barrels. I have not lost a single piece to pressure or loose pockets.

    Reg primers in 300PRC

Before someone told me I should use the Federal magnum primers, I used the non-magnums with RL26 and 230 Hybrids. I noticed no difference.

Wondering how much time we’re wasting?

Thinking I’d find *the* ideal loads for each caliber I shoot, I’ve spent a lot of time playing the OCW game. Turns out they all led to common loads (over several barrels within a tenth or two grain difference): 223 : 77 - 80 SMK, 24.0 Varget 6 BRA : 105 Hybrid, 30.5 H4895 (add a grain for...

Advice on new Manners for Vudoo

I don’t really know as I shoot bench on bipod. When carrying it’s comfortable just forward of the magazine. 22” ace barrel.

Reusing old brass in a new barrel

I don’t subscribe to the new barrel, new brass theory. I’m on my third 6.5 CM barrel with the same Peterson brass I purchased for the original barrel. Pushing 20 reloads now on the brass and haven't lost a single piece yet to loose primers or split necks. Pretty much 41.2 to 41.5 grains of 4350...

Advice on new Manners for Vudoo

You’re correct, I got my 1 and 2 reversed, butt hook = thumb shelf. (Edited post, thanks.) BTW, I sent a PRS2 back to add the shelf and though they’ll do it, you can tell its an afterthought/addition.

Advice on new Manners for Vudoo

That and the thumb shelf only comes in the PRS1, a feature I really like. Unfortunate because I prefer the PRS2 without the hook.

    AutoTrickler V4

I respect all the “must be user error” posts, but, respectively the V4 does *not* dispense powder as accurately and reliably as the previous generations. IMO, primarily because the prior 3 generations all allowed for fine tuning the trickler flow angle, an easy process, especially with Area 419...

    loaded round chambering issue

Don't know about the Dasher, but that's part of the problem with the 6 BRA (and probably Dasher). The brass hardly grows at all, and using a Girauld trimmer the case mouths are hardly touched at all, unless you're willing to trim a couple thousand each reload. I've taken to neck turning the...
