This address front to pack placement but what about elevation? Getting your eye high enough to be directly in line with the scope. The elevation of your facew is critical to eye alignment and having the same cheekweld on each shot. Not knocking your idea and your idea would be good on an...
While bullets are certainly a concern, your rifle /scope combo along with your long range shooting skills will make more of a difference than the style of bullets. Any bullet has to be placed in the right spot regardless of design to kill effectively. If your rig cannot place the bullets where...
Call S&B customer service. I had a similar issue, they told me exactly how to correct the problem. They are very easy to deal with, located in Va I think. Bill
I have to agree Jay, except for very long range rigs or the odd opportunity at very very low light I would NOT want a 56 mm objective. Weight not withstanding, that much objective lens , at least for me, just makes the rifle top heavy and un-wieldy at best. a 56mm lens puts that centerline of...

T-1, Build anything on the 78 that you would on a 700. There is nothing wrong with them and just a rebadged 700 and cheaper stock. The last one I built was a 308 tactical and it was a tack driver. Bill
I have 2 of these Sir, I have both the duplex Illuminated model and the B&C reticle illuminated model. I have used everything from S&B, Nightforce, USO, Leu Mk 4 and Ultra's etc. I really like the VX-6. The glass is clear, the crosshairs are large enough for my aging eys to see easily and...
