No. In fact it will likely be quieter because the rounds are less likely to flirt with the speed of sound.

This thread resulted in my ignore list getting a little longer too.

    308 Handguard

I bought the Wilson handguard for a Creedmoor build. It’s nice and I’m happy with it. I don’t remember having much trouble timing and torquing the barrel nut. I did buy a crowfoot wrench at Harbor Freight that I machined thinner to fit the wrench flats. An adjustable wrench large enough to fit...

Anyone know how hard it is to register a solvent trap as a suppressor?

I’m not going to post a link. But this clown did the same thing over at ar15.com. He even used the same screen name.

Bergara BMR Micro Rimfire .22 LR

My Form 1 was approved (I was one of the lucky ones that didn’t get denied en masse back in February) and we had some open machine time so I finally got it made. Now the important bit- ammo testing: CCI SV NORMA TAC Aguila Subsonic Hollowpoint

I think I was using Aguila standard velocity. You don’t happen to have the BC for that bullet do you?

Bergara BMR Micro Rimfire .22 LR

I haven’t tried a bunch of ammo yet, but damn is this thing fun. We had 70 degree weather here in Ohio over the weekend. I have it zeroed at 25 yards. I had to put 4.8 mils on it to hit the 150 yard plate. Add to that some wind and it’s just plain, cheap fun.

Bergara BMR Micro Rimfire .22 LR

I picked one up this week. Shooting in the backyard with my son’s book bag for a front rest and balancing on the hot tub cover it shows ……promise. It might be a while before I get to try some ammo testing. First impressions of the gun were good. The polymer stock is quite sturdy, the...

    Athlon Cronus Spotter

An update for anyone interested: Doug took care of me. He had a shipping label sent to me from Athlon saving me the shipping cost. He also shipped me a new unit from his store as soon as the old unit was delivered to Athlon.

    Athlon Cronus Spotter

No, it’s behind the first layer of glass. It looks like it’s stuck to the back side of the glass.

    Athlon Cronus Spotter

In person it looks fibrous or paper like. I assumed it was some type of gasket material used between components. Kind of sucks, I just got this thing Thursday from Cameraland.

This is my first spotting scope, but I’m reasonably certain this shouldn’t be in the body. Am I correct?

Of course not. Now, please show where I argued that. Please reread post #82. That is the only point I’ve made. It seems quite cut and dry.

    Bullet going to sleep

I'm questioning why I'm doing this (arguing with idiots and all), but here goes: You, literally, said Bryan Litz does not buy into the "bullets sleeping bullshit." Granted, you couched your point with "pretty sure." This is demonstrably false. Bryan Litz discussed this in a book he has...
