The problem is that some states or parts of states seem to treat the FOPA-type laws more like an affirmative defense rather than the standing law. I've flown out of NYC airports with long guns but only out of CT airports with handguns. Would treat flying with suppressors the same way. It is...
As you can see from that map, CT is literally an "island" of suppressor ownership being completely surrounded by non-legal states. So is there no way to legally drive with a suppressor to another suppressor legal state from CT? Flying from a CT airport is the only way? There is no FOPA type...
Re: ? hunting upper, 6.8 or 300 acc, 7.62x39 I went with the 6.8 for using out of a 16" barrel. Gets close to 3,000 fps with the SSA 85 grain TSX. I'm using a RRA upper and have no complaints. If I was going to go with a longer barrel and shoot long range, would have went with the 6.5.

Re: RAGE BROADHEADS !!!! What stories do you have I've used the 2 blade Rage heads with success but only for turkeys. I like the large cutting surface for the small vitals on a bird and none have gone far after the shot which can be problem with turkeys. I don't trust an expandable head on...
Re: Bumper crop Acorns Connecticut and all of the Northeast is loaded with acorns this year. Falling like crazy. Deer don't have to move around too much which isn't good.
Re: 22 Bolt Action I picked up a Henry Accu-Bolt for my son to learn on and have no complaints. The stock is short and the rifle is light and fits him well. The fiber optic sights are nice too. My two youngest will learn on the rifle after he grows out of it.
Re: Best hunting factory hunting rifle ~$1200 For a straight factory rifle, it's hard to knock the overall combination of features on a Sako 75 or 85 Finnlight. The all stainless steel construction is a plus. I've had several and never encountered a problem.
