Lightest chassis that balances for a Vudoo?

If you do not adjust cant in the recoil pad you can remove the cant plate on the stock. Only like 2 ounces but like others are saying removing that small amount that far back will change the pivot point VS lots of weight closer to the magwel.

Savage Ultralight 280 AI chassis options

You will need to tune the 300 WM and similar AICS magazines as the chassis will have 3.850 length magwel and we are unaware of any 30-06 and similar 3.850 length magazines, unfortunately. It has most defiantly been done with success with other customers' 280 AI builds. Every combination can...

    XLR Element Chassis - Thoughts

@jbuck88 The short buffer tube in the TR-2 Buttstock is a great way to get the length of pull even shorter than the standard 12" which is the shortest it will go with our contoured buffer tube. The adjustability and our different options allow for 99% of people to have the proper LOP and cheek weld!

New ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT hunting / competition / varmint / do-it-all chassis from XLR Industries!!!

The Tikka tac A1 is slightly different than the other T3 actions. We have not had one in the shop before to see if there are clearance issues we could accommodate in the inlet but have heard of customers having to make slight modifications. If you are trying to make the rifle substantially...

    XLR Chassis Build Thread

That is something that very well might happen in the future. nothing is in the works at this time. We are very busy with the core chassis. I would imagine we will not start even designing a new platform for the oversized cartridges until possible 2022 at the earliest.

    XLR Chassis Build Thread

We have discontinued the Evolution chassis, Evolution HD, Evolution BMG, and Carbon chassis. So at this time the Element and Envy Pro are the chassis offered. We will have other chassis options in the future (later this year and 2022). currently we are focusing on the chassis mentioned which are...

    Tikka T1X

They are indeed "now" the same chassis, just a different trigger guard is used. when the T1 X was released there were two issues with it dropping right into a T3 short action chassis. 1. The magazine catch system on the bottom of the action. a. this was solved by milling a relief in the...

New ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT hunting / competition / varmint / do-it-all chassis from XLR Industries!!!

IT honestly all comes down to what you are hunting, where, and your hunting style. One of the best benefits of this system is being able to have a folding buttstock without adding very much weight. For us and many others this allows us to have a short compact rifle strapped to our packs. When we...

XLR Envy and MDT poly mags - what am I doing wrong?

All though AICS magazines have become the "standard/go-to" pattern for the industry when it comes to bottom metal and chassis DBM's there actually is no such thing as a AICS spec. We have measured hundreds of "AICS" magazines from different manufactures and can assure you there is no...

    XLR Grand Shootout

Sorry about that, how it is worded is not correct. Should state "match is on October 10&11 of 2020." It is a 2 day National PRS match, now registration and sight in is on Friday the 9 which will also have some fun side matches.

    PRS Chassis/Stock for 1.25"full bull

Well depending on how your chassis/stock is designed getting the right balance point should not equate to making the rifle heavy. If the weight options are done correctly you should be able to add minimal weight while manipulating the balance. That is why we have buffer tube weights, and not...

    PRS Chassis/Stock for 1.25"full bull

Balance can defiantly be a personal preference depending on the shooting discipline, and what bags, or front support is being used. For NRL / PRS style shooting where positional balance is very important we like to have our rifles balance 4 1/2" - 5" in front of the magwell. This is because...
