    Nosler (6mm) 243 90 grain E-Tip

Thank you Marshall Dodge, I tried your recipe of 33.0 grains of Varget and moved the seating depth out .010 from what you had and shot a 4 shot ground under 1 inch at 100 yards. This is something I can work with.

Nothing has worked so far. I will try the recipe Marshall Dodge suggested and see if that shows some promise. Thanks Marshall

    Nosler (6mm) 243 90 grain E-Tip

Very true Gunny, with the limited amount of bullets it's about the only option I have. I am headed out today to try a recipe with 38.5 grains of Varget at 4 different seating depths and hope I come across something I can work with. Will post what I find later. Not sure how long it will take for...

    Nosler (6mm) 243 90 grain E-Tip

Thanks Gunny, that is my original point, as I stated. I was able to find three of the sample packs containing 12 bullets each so I have 36 to work with. Was hoping someone may have a rifle with similar barrel length and twist and had found an accurate load and seating depth. In what I have read...

    Nosler (6mm) 243 90 grain E-Tip

Trying to find a non-lead bullet and load recipe for my Wife to deer hunt in Calif. Rifle is Win 243 bolt action, 20" barrel, 1-10 twist. Rifle does not like Barnes 85gr TSX. Found a couple sample packs (12 bullets) of Nosler 90 grain E-Tips. Has anyone had positive results with the 90 grain...

    Savage 12 Lrp replacement trigger

I have two Savage 12 LRP's and put Rifle Basix triggers on both of them. I really like the Rifle Basix triggers, they are adjustable and consistent when you set them. The factory accutriggers would lock up on both of my rifles.

Dillon Precision response to a small problem

They did the same for me when the two screws on the primer slide stripped. They also sent a new low primer sensor when the plastic on mine cracked. Their no bullshit guarantee is just that, no BS. Great product, great company

    Primer Pocket Flash Holes-Rifle Brass

I have seen a couple of comments pertaining to the flash holes in small rifle primer pockets. These comments indicated that the flash holes are smaller than in large rifle primer pockets and one would need to change out the decapping pin on their neck sizing/full length resizing dies. My 6.5CM...

    6.5 Creedmoor Brass

I did a ladder test and 43.0 grains was the highest powder charge, that test went from 39.0 to 43.0 in 1 grain increments. All five groups shot under 1/2 inch at 100 yards. The second load with 43 grains enlarged the primer pocket enough that a couple were loose, a couple fell out. These tests...

    6.5 Creedmoor Brass

I was getting enlarged primer pockets with 43 grain load and possibly with the 42 grain load. I am now shooting 41.0 grains of H4350 and keeping a close eye on the primers. There are no other indications of too much pressure.

    6.5 Creedmoor Brass

I've got both, Starline and Hornady, both lrp. I fired some loads with 42.0 and 43.0 grains of H4350. Both ended up with enlarged primer pockets. Next purchase will be Starline with srp. Thanks for the response

    6.5 Creedmoor Brass

Is there an advantage with small primer pocket over large primer pocket in 6.5CM brass. Is the small primer pocket less susceptible to primer pocket enlargement.

    243 Win, 105 Hybrids and RL17

Anyone have experience/knowledge with 243 Win, Savage 12 LRP, 26 inch barrel, 1/9.25 twist. Load is Berger 105 Hybrid Target, 37.0 grains RL17, Fed 210 LR primer in Starline brass. Bullet seated .005 off lands. Getting 2795 fps. It shoots 1/4 inch groups at 100 yards. Hoping for long barrel life...
