Appreciate the suggestion. I have put a new battery in it which did help but still not what I feel it should be. I would only call it visible at dawn or dusk and even then it’s got dark spots (almost non-illuminated) and bleeding. You’re right though..... fresh batteries usually take care of...
Also agree with the above. Great glass, size, weight and features for the price. I’m going to give them a call though because the illumination on mine with the MD3 reticle isn’t even close to daylight bright and does bleed more than I think it should. Here it is on a 20” 6.5 Creedmoor I built:
Nice rifle. X-bolt speeds and long ranges are a favorite of mine; great shooters. I’ve got a .300 WSM also in a Hell’s Canyon Long Range with the McMillan stock. Thought about mounting my Vudu on it but the VX-6HD I have on there is already mounted as far back as possible on the rail and still...
Not sure about other mounts but the JP one piece mount I had was too wide to fit. I went with Seekins extra high rings on my Aero 6.5 Creedmoor and they worked out perfect for me.
I also really like mine. Great glass, great magnification range and love the short overall length. As stated above the reticle is fantastic with the floating dot.
Glad to see they took care of it.... hopefully it'll be good to go. Just received mine today as well. First impressions are it's a well put together compact package. I really like the MD3 reticle a lot but the illumination isn't as bright as I was expecting it to be. Guess I was hoping for...
That's the kind of info I'm looking for. Thanks for the reply! I've nearly decided to stay with the 3-15 if go with a T5XI only because of the length of the 5-25. Size is important to me and I like the fact that I can get high magnification in such a short package. In your opinion (and I know...
I'm about to pick up one of these two scopes. I can get either of them for about $1450 new but my question is which one would you choose and why? The Eotech hasn't been out very long and I've seen the couple issues that other members had in the Vudu thread which is the only thing that concerns...
Plan to pick up a trigger tomorrow for my new build. Should I go with the Hiperfire 24E or the 24C? Based on sale prices the 24C is about $50 more than the 24E right now. I don't really have a preference of straight or curved trigger bow. Primary use of the rifle is long range target with some...
Appreciate the replies. Lots of good suggestions! The main reason is because I want something with a bit more magnification. Aside from that it would be a very strong contender.
Appreciate the replies. I would prefer the MIL/MIL setup but just wanted to be sure I wasn't giving up a lot in quality of the scope. I've never owned an XTR II (or any Burris for that matter) but haven't seen much negativity towards them other than some stating the glass isn't that great...
I'm trying to decide on an optic for my new build and have pretty much narrowed it down to these two. I like the MIL/MIL adjustments on the Burris, the FFP SCR MIL reticle as well as the 34mm tube and exposed windage turret. However I feel like the Nightforce may have a bit better glass based on...
