Re: magnification and target size ?? This is more about glass quallity and reticle thickness than about magnification. I am able to aim 19mm (0.75") spots at 100m with 3.5x magnification and German T reticle
Re: Vortex Razor HD 5-20x50 ~ One more review..... That is one of the reasons why I have my Zero Stop set 2 Mils low. The second reason is shooting on the side. Never did that, but I would like to test it
Re: Vortex Razor HD 5-20x50 ~ One more review..... EBR-2 reticle at 20x zoom looking to 1000m Reticle lines are 0.06 mrad Center hollow square is 0.1x0.1 mrad Big wind dots are 0.04 mrad Small wind dots are about 0.02 mrad
Re: Illumination on the NXS F1 and the Razor HD Setting illumination was one of the reasons, why I went to Razor and not to Nightforce. When you want to set illumintion on Nightforce, you have to take out paralax knob top, uder which is trimmer whith which you can set it. Nothing for me
Re: Vortex Razor EBR-2 Question LoneWolfUSMC this reticle has one nice trick for very fine aiming, if anyone think, that it is too thick. Make 1Mrad adjustment down and 1Mrad adjustment left ... voila, you have less than 1/7MOA free floating target dot
Re: Vortex Razor EBR-2 Question Is not fine enough? Whad do you imagine you will hold it on? If it will be human sized target (gong, etc.), than it is fine enough This picture is to a building 1000m away
Re: Mil/Mil scopes Yes, that is true miliradian BUT Western armies rounded this UP and uses 1MRAD is 1/6400 of circle AND Eastern armies (Do not know how now, but for example Soviet Union in WW2) rounded this down and used 1MRAD = 1/6200 of circle
