    I've had good luck with both of those powders out of different 6.5x284's. Berger gave me to following info: Re23. 46.5-51.6 (95%) 2760 with 26" barrel Re26. 49 - 53.8. (90%) 2840 with 26" barrel

    Excellent creedmor loads

    I'm using the Hornady 147 eldm with Rl26 with a factory xbolt. Seeing consistent 4-5 shot groups in the .5"-.75" range and 2730 fps.

    Thanks for posting. I've had the same question. I just finished working up a load for a 6.5x284 and the best load shows slight ejector marks. I figured I needed to back off half a grain but I'm curious what some of the more experienced guys have to say.

    Hunting & Fishing 162gr eldx for LR Elk

    I've shot deer and hogs with the 162 eldm's and they are a lethal round. With proper shot placement I would not hesitate to shoot an elk with one.
