A bud just called me this week with the same prob with that ammo in a different gun. have you tried any other ammo recently? It’s just a pr with the last lot he got.
Made it to the range for the first time this year. Drug the B14r Steel along with me. 193 yards bipod with rear bag on bench. Eley Action 42gr bulk pack.
I’m an equal opportunity rimfire guy. I like to try them all. Tikka makes a great rifle but I think I’m down to one Sl 7mm Rem and the T1X. Seekins rifles have taken over most of my centerfire uses.
Talked to Zermatt last week and they want me to send my bolt head in. Been working late every day so it may be a while before I get a chance. As of now the best it will do is about 80% making it to the chamber in the boltface. I can see a few things that i think stoning would fix but will let...
I just spent an hour adjusting my mags in .01 increments and trying to get them to feed. 2.245 inch from the bottom of the mag worked best in my Bravo. Found out that running the mag all the way up damages the round below it. See a mod that I think may work to get it to feed better. Still can’t...
Anyone else have cases that look anywhere near that. Have had enough ruptured cases in the past is 22 AR uppers figured this had to be near that. Not like you need to reuse the cases just safety concerns.
I’m sure they will get it worked out for me but at this point I’m wondering if I should have just stick with my other guns. I have two B14s that I run fired cases as snap caps. I have tried my mags all the way up and down and still had feed problems. Then I picked up a handful of cases and...
I have given up on mine till I get some time to make some phone calls. Between the bad feeding, lite strikes and cases about to blow out I will just shoot one of the non problem guns that actually made it fun to go to the range.
I have no doubt both of mine will do 3/4 inch range averages with the right ammo. I’m a cheap bastard most of the time and shoot Eley action because I have a pile of it. Shoots right at an inch with it. Did a little test with SK on two range trips and got me down to the .8 range with both guns...
I could be wrong but I don’t think the work he did is at fault on mine. He was the middle man on the action and machined the barrel. His work looks excellent.
For me that would be. Or the same 50 shot offhand. For me it’s not about the misses must the hits. Positive feedback instead of negative. I have had lots of fun burning up the worst bulk I could find offhand.
