I've shot a few hundred of the 130 SMK's and settled on 42.8 of H4350, Lapua brass, and CCI 450's. I don't usually measure OAL but the BTO was 2.138, about 40 thou off. Runs about 2830fps. Very accurate, with single digit sd's. Shot them out to 1100 yards, no problem. Still have a few hundred...

I only use H4350, IMR4166, and Varget, almost always throws spot on or .02 under.

You definitely need a couple of degrees of slope in your trickler. Mine almost never over throws, if any thing it usually just under.

They do outstanding work. I've purchased several prefits and a barreled action from them, all excellent and delivered on time.

Do it and get it over with, it will only get worse the longer you wait. You will be sore for a few weeks and will notice some minor pains for a few months. Don't be to quick to resume normal activities and let it heal completely. You'll be glad you did. I wanted to get mine done quickly, but...

Maybe someone else could weigh in on this because I rarely shoot in temps colder than 50 degrees and hotter than 90-95. Definitely no problems within this range. No problem getting low single digit sd's with my Dasher. I was able to pick up 8lbs before the shortage and consider it a very good...
