Thanks Dogtown. I was planning on using Cutting Edge 352gr to start experimenting with the load. I will give 8133 a try, perhaps starting around 125gr for a few rounds just to check pressures.
I was reading an old thread about substitute powders for Retumbo. One member asked the question: Has anyone tried using IMR 8133 for 375 Cheytac loads? Did not see any answers, so I would like to ask the question once more. Anyone using IMR 8133 to load 375 Cheytac?
Reading this is a shock to me. I was going to order a CDX-40 today and the twist rate I was given as standard is 1:10", 5R groove Bartlein. They offer a special request of 1:11.5" and 6 groove Bartlein. Agreed a faster twist (8 to 9") would be better from the 32" barrels, but the 1:10"...
