My experience with short range vs mid range and out. Shooting a 6mm brx showed a definite difference in bullets. At short range (100-300) it would put the 107 sierras in tight. At 300 it would routinely do .75" and .125 at 100. On the other hand with the berger 105 vlds at 300 it would be...
Those are some good people out there.i shot there for several years before I moved back here. I'm hoping to be at the Gene Perry match in April. He was a really great guy.
Tommorow Morning at Red Brush rifle range we are having this months F-class match. Sorry for such a short fuse on this one. I'll do better next month. It's a 3X500 with 20 round strings of fire. i'm the POC for this match so if you want more info either come on out or call me.
This months 500 yard match at red brush rifle range is this Sunday mornin august 19th. It's a 3X500, three strings of fire at 500 yards. Each string is 20 shots for score plus sighters so bring around 70-75 rounds. Sign ups start at 0730 and end at 0830. All rifles and people are welcome. My...
Re: pit rotations I divide the relays by who signs up first. the ones who signs up first are on first and the last are relay 3. I just couldnt remember how the relays go. we had just been running 2, but 3 might be easier.
With my match that's going on near me I'm trying to wrap my mind around the pit rotations. I can not seem to get it so that everyone pulls targets for 3 relays. I end up with 1st relay pulling 4 times, 2nd pulling 3, and 3rd pulling 2. How does it usually work, or what am I messing up.
On Sunday June 17th is the third round of our F-class matches. It's a 3x500 match at red brush rifle range. The site is www.redbrush.org for directions. There isn't much info on the site abt the match yet, but my contact info is if you need anything. Come in out, all are welcome. Jason
This months match is coming up on the 20th at redbrush rifle range. It's a 3x500 with 20 shot strings, so bring about 70 rounds. Everyone's welcome, so if your in the area come on out. Show time us between 730-830.
Re: target glue?? Is san Diego we used some kind of powder poured in water. I don't know what it was, but it worked great. The wallpaper stufef didn't seem to work as well.
What do you use for Target glue? Or what works best? I've tried a type of wall paper glue, but it wasn't that great. It took forever to dry and didn't spread that great.
Re: South Indiana F-class sunday 1:30 was a guess. If we start sign ups at 730 and end em around 830 to begin setting up. start shooting around 930 then its possible we could be done around 130. I've had several people call me and ask for a little instruction on how things work so it may be a...
Re: Central Indiana Just want to let you know we are now planning to make the trip up to camp atterbury for the match on the first. I'll be the bald guy with glasses and a goatee thing, white ford ranger and camper, shooting a green stocked savage.
Re: Central Indiana Probably not before the match, but most places ive been are pretty open with the time. what are you shooting? that'll give a better idea on some basic adjustments. 600 isnt too bad to get on paper.
Re: Central Indiana Take some extra rounds for sighters, relax, ask questions as needed, but most importantly have fun. Also at camp atterbury, be sure to email the person for the info for the gate. It mentions it on their web page.
Re: Central Indiana a 3X600 match is 3 strings of fire at 600 yards. You'll be in the pits to pull and mark the targets in the pits for 3 strings as well.
