Free bump. I have the A5M XP and these things flat out shoot. If I do my part they hold 1/4 moa at 300 and 1/2 or less at 600. Remarkable guns for the price
Sorry if this has been covered, but I couldn’t find any info on it. What is the difference in the fire control group between the gen 1 and gen 2? Recently purchased a gen 1 and trying to see if it’s worth the $100 or so to have my bolt upgraded to a gen 2. Thanks in advance for any help! -Matt
Well I’m the OP and I just couldn’t help myself. A fellow member was selling this rifle for a great deal so I jumped on the Vudoo bandwagon and threw one of my NF on it. It’s an 18” MTU in an AICS AT chassis. I have absolutely loved the tikka and it’s a great shooter, but I should’ve just done...
Thanks for the responses guys. I think I’m gonna stick with the tikka for now. I already have an upgraded stock and am seriously considering the IBI barrel with the Calfee IV chamber. I just want to squeeze a bit more accuracy out of it and I like messing with stuff.
I’m only in about $800 for the rifle and stock. If I added an IBI barrel, I would be all in about $1200 minus optics. So about half the price of a vudoo. I agree with a lot of posts that the vudoo will likely be nicer, but I just enjoy shooting and money isn’t on the line. thanks again for all...
Thanks for the responses guys! I am really torn because I was thinking about buying an IBI or LW barrel for it, but I don’t want to be another $400 into the rifle and then still wish I would have bought the vudoo. I don’t plan on shooting matches, but maybe in the future.
So I have a t1x in a bell and Carlson stock which I enjoy shooting out to 2-300 yards. I am not a competitor, but I do like shooting groups and steel at distance. I have done some research and can’t find a real definitive answer. I curious if anyone has any real world accuracy comparison...
