Night Vision Crimson Trace CMR 201 IR Rail Master L.O. (read NO Bloom)

I just started using mine about a month ago and shot a coyote at around 60yds with it the other day. Dot size didn't seem to bother it at all :D. For $200ish I don't think there are many other IR lasers out there that could compete.

Night Vision Crimson Trace CMR 201 IR Rail Master L.O. (read NO Bloom)

Any way to just buy the filter for the IR Railmaster I already own?

Suppressors What holster/carry method for G19 with suppressor?

Very good sir! Thanks a bunch for the info. I will be ordering one of these soon. I only have one other question. When you draw/unsnap the gun from the holster is it very loud? Could you do it slower and make it quieter? I will be using this while hunting and want to avoid being noisy if possible.

Night Vision Flir scout ps24 questions

My main concern is being able to detect animals with the thermal and shoot with the NOD. My plan is to use a handheld thermal to detect and a helmet mounted PVS-14/IR laser to take the shot. That being said I probably won't be taking shots longer than 250yds with a setup like that. I'd like to...

Suppressors What holster/carry method for G19 with suppressor?

The GunClip is very interesting, thanks for posting. My only concern would be that the snap would hold up. It would be a real bitch to have my G19 with a chambered round drop to the ground from waist high. You might be on to something though with the velcro. It would be nice to have an extra...

Night Vision problem w/pvs-14 inline w/eotech - very small fov

So in terms of covering the gap between the red dot and PVS-14(as you would with your hand), has anyone developed a method for doing this? I'm trying to think of a material that could be used to cover the gap... Does anyone sell a product that would accomplish this?

Night Vision TNVC Announces the WASP NV Clip-On Device

Anyone have info about any accessories that could be used with this setup. It might be kind of nice to have a sleeve or something that went inbetween the rear of the WASP and the front of the scope objective to keep out any ambient light. Would that even be needed with this setup? I know pvs22s...

Night Vision Flir scout ps24 questions

It seems that the flir has a lot better resolution than the L3... How does that figure into the comparison of these two models? I'm in the market for a entry level thermal for predator hunting and am leaning towards the ps24 due to my limited budget. I wanna make sure I get the most bang for...

Suppressors What holster/carry method for G19 with suppressor?

Are there any options for carrying a Glock 19 with a suppressor? I'm able to carry my Ruger 22/45 with a suppressor in my 1911 holster just fine. The bottom of it is open and the suppressor sticks out a good amount but it works fine. The main problem with the G19/suppressor is that the diameter...

    Which 308 dies to get?

Just food for thought, I spoke with one of the bullet techs at Redding and they advised that I crimp loads for semi-auto rifles. He said that they usually don't get pushed back into the case from the feed ramp but it can happen. Crimping is a consistent process that assures the bullet is not...

    Hornady Autocharge vs RCBS Chargemaster

I had a Lyman DPS and it started throwing a little too inconsistent for me. I called up Lyman to see if they would take a look at it for me. I offered to pay to have them do it but they wanted $200. They have horrible customer service and will never see another dime from me. I got the RCBS and...

Night Vision Budget helmet and mounting system

I got the bug situation under control now with the net that covers my head/neck and a thermacell. What I am kind of having issues with is getting steady for shooting with the IR laser(when using the helmet). I missed a coyote the other night using it and it pissed me off to high hell(I don't...

Night Vision Aimpoint or Eotech for use with PVS14?

I have both and am finding that the Aimpoint(PRO) is working a little better. The dot seems to be a little crisper. I've been using my helmet lately but I'm thinking that using an optic might be more conducive to accuracy. Does anyone have advice on how to improve this setup?

Rifle Scopes Optic options for long range Ar-15

I would look for an older/used Leupold Mark 4. Probably a 3.5-10x40 with what ever flavor knobs you like. I run one on one of my rifles now and like it a lot. You could always get a 4.5-14 or a 6.5-20 if you wanted. I personally like the 3.5-10x40. I run mainly Nightforce scopes and aside from...

Night Vision Hunting with NODs. Lessons learned, questions, and or advice. Share setups

Bingo, this is what i did. Plus my flashlight mount already had some padding on the inside of it. I have the pressure switch on the way. I picked up a cool monopod tonight at Cabelas. It was a cheapie but has a little picatinny rail on the side. I was able to mount my IR light that isn't as...

Night Vision Hunting with NODs. Lessons learned, questions, and or advice. Share setups

I got the pressure pad for my SuperTac on the way. I'm thinking I will probably just keep my Crimson Trace IR laser on all the time. I'll just get an extra battery in case it runs out of juice. I like the idea of having another IR light for closer up stuff. I have a smaller light too that I've...

Night Vision Hunting with NODs. Lessons learned, questions, and or advice. Share setups

Thanks a bunch German, big help as always. So, I had my first trip out last nigh where I was actually able to do some calling. With a monocular throwing off depth perception would it be bad to get into position with a flashlight? It's just seems so much easier to see changes in the...
