Just talked with Brownells Norway. Since the this was a warranty returrn they just returned the money and not a new scope. I had to order the scope again, this time at $1080 instead of $970. So today I realized that Brownells Norway had returned my money instead of sending me a new scope as we had agreed upon on the chat. I wonder if it is simply a misunderstanding or if they "know" I would return a second scope. Will try calling them tomorrow to find out what has happened.- freeride

Well, I found this on Nightforce home page. They obviously think the threads should be a tight fit. "We machine the screw that controls elevation adjustments to an unbelievable 110 threads per inch. Thanks for the reply. I found it rater strange that this scope had sloppy threading. My Nikon scopes are tight despite costing far less. Hell even the Athlon BTR 4-14x44 I had was not this sloppy fitted. And I know for sure how poorly the threads on the Athlon turrets was as I took the scope...- freeride

Based om my sample I would not recommend it. Hopefully this is a lemon. I am a bit undesided as to what I am going to do when I return this scope. Ask for a refund or have a new scope shipped. I need a new scope, but I do not need the hassle of having to do the QC for Brownells.- freeride
